• To effectively plan, implement and regulate State wide port policies that are congruent to the policies of the State Government;
• To ensure efficient port services via effective monitoring and attainment of key performance indicators for port operation;
• To ensure port infrastructure and equipment are adequate and grow in tandem to the growth of the State’s economy;
• To ensure ports adapt to changing environment in modernization of ports and application of Information and Communication Technology.
